Dr. Heather Stamm
Hi! I am Dr. Heather Stamm, and I believe in the power of a smile. In fact, it was the power of my own smile that inspired me to become a dentist. After braces restored my bite and enhanced my smile as a child, I was inspired to provide the power of a smile to others. I believe in treating my patients with kindness and respect. I believe it is the little things that make my patients more comfortable about coming to the dentist.
I was born in Scottsdale, Arizona, and graduated from Arizona State University with a major in nutrition in 1998. I then attended Creighton Dental School and graduated with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2002.
Outside of dentistry, I enjoy taking advantage of Colorado’s beautiful outdoors, including snowboarding, cycling, and hiking. I love gourmet cooking and spending time with my husband Eric and our two kids.
Dr. Kai Kawasugi
I’m Dr. Kai Kawasugi, and I’ve been with the Stamm Dental team since April 2009. I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, and left the islands to get my dental degree from Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. I graduated in 2004 and moved to Colorado to embark on my career and passion for dentistry.
My other interests include surfing, snowboarding, cycling, fly fishing, and traveling back to Hawaii to see my family. And of course, the most important piece of me is my beautiful wife Jodi, my three beautiful children. I continue to carry and share that Aloha Spirit wherever I go and in whatever I do, both in my personal life and at work.
Dr. Robert Greene hails from Atlanta, GA where most of his family still resides. He is married to a pediatric dentist, he and his wife Jeanie settled on Denver after years living on both coasts. Dr. Greene earned his DMD at Case Western in Cleveland before completing his residency in hospital and surgical dentistry at University of Colorado Anschutz. He enjoys providing lasting, comprehensive dentistry in a relaxing manner and loves to chat with patients who he considers friends. In challenging cases, Dr. Greene is happy to offer IV sedation for greater comfort and safety.
Before moving into dentistry, Dr. Greene was a screenwriter in Hollywood with his brother Dan. Both he and his wife are avid skiers, dog-lovers, foodies, and world travelers when time allows.
I graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2001, with my Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene. After practicing in New Mexico for more than a year, I transplanted to Colorado in 2002 and worked in various dental offices in search of my work home, which I found at Stamm Dental.
My favorite part of being a dental hygienist is building long-lasting relationships with many patients and being chosen to be your preventive care provider. Dr. Stamm and Dr. Kai take a personal interest in our patients and work very hard on changing our patients’ dental health. Because of this, I couldn’t imagine practicing in any other office.
When I am not at work, I am always having an adventure with my husband Bill and two kiddos, Katelyn and Evan.
I’d like to introduce myself to all our great patients in the Stamm Dental Family. My name is Sharon Nelms and I’m a native of Colorado. I have been in the dental field since 2001 with six years’ experience as an assistant in a periodontal practice. As an assistant, I gained a great appreciation for the practice of dental hygiene and the need for preventive comprehensive care.
I am now a registered hygienist and proud to be able to make a positive difference in the lives of my patients. I am certified in anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration. I have been a team member of Stamm Dental since 2007. I am so excited to be a part of this great family!
When I am not working I enjoy playing tennis and golf and going snowboarding.
My name is Galina Serenchenko, and I was born and raised in Southern Russia. I graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree in science. After moving to the USA, I decided to continue my medical education and chose the dental profession. I took dental assisting and EDDA courses, and have been a dental assistant for 15 years. I enjoy working with patients and doing cosmetic dentistry to help patients achieve a beautiful smile.
Outside of work, I like to read, go camping, and spend time with my kids and husband.
My name is Rachel Gutierrez. I was born and raised in Colorado. At home, I have three beautiful children, Isabella, Isaac, and Mateo. My family is amazing, I have the best friends in the world, and I cherish them all! I enjoy camping, shopping, and spending time with the ones I love most. I’m a laid-back type of person with a heart of gold!

We are a Certified Invisalign Provider. Consider Invisalign to get the beautiful straight teeth you’ve always wanted — without braces. A complimentary consultation with our doctor can determine if Invisalign is right for you.
What Is it?
Invisalign uses a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners that no one can tell you’re wearing. So, you can smile more during treatment as well as after. Invisalign is made with 3D computer imaging technology and has been proven effective. More than 70% of orthodontists in the US and Canada are certified to treat with Invisalign.
Why Would I Want It?
Not only are the aligners invisible, they are removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment. Plus, brushing and flossing are no problem. They are also comfortable, with no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment. And no metal and wires usually means you spend less time in your doctor’s office getting adjustments. Invisalign also allows you to view your own virtual treatment plan when you start so you can see how your straight teeth will look when your treatment is complete.
How Does It Work?
You wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move — little by little, week by week — until they have straightened to their final positions. You’ll visit us about once every six weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. Total treatment time typically lasts nine to 15 months, and the number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both numbers will vary from case to case.
For more information on Invisalign, you can visit the Invisalign website.
Who is Using Invisalign?
Listen to Katherine Heigl talk about using Invisalign to straighten her star-studded smile.
Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, high-quality dental care. We understand that you or your child may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs, and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while providing the best care possible.
Your first visit is all about you: your comfort, your happiness, and your health
During your first visit, we will review your dental and medical history forms, and take X-rays of your teeth and mouth. Then Dr. Stamm, Dr. Kawasugi, or Dr. Greene will meet with you to discuss your X-rays, help you create your own individual treatment plan, and answer any questions you may have.
At your next visit, one of our hygienists will clean and polish your teeth, and inspect your teeth and gums for any cavities or early signs of tooth decay or gingivitis.
Bring your smile, but also remember to bring these with you to your first appointment

We, Stamm Dental, thank you for choosing us as your dental healthcare provider. At our practice, we believe that you deserve the best care, as well as a clear understanding of your financial responsibilities in achieving that care. Dental treatment is an excellent investment in an individual’s medical and psychological well-being. Financial considerations should not be an obstacle to obtaining this important health service. Our goal is to keep the lines of communication open regarding our financial policy. If at any time you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact Rachel at (303) 557-2348.
We provide dental services to many patients. Some have dental benefits, buy many do not. If you have dental benefits, congratulations! You are very fortunate. Here are some important things you should know…
Please remember that your dental benefits are based upon a contract between you and your insurance carrier. If you have any questions regarding your dental benefits please contact your employer or insurance company directly. Dental benefit plans will never pay for completion of your dental care. It is only meant to assist you.
It is your responsibility to provide all necessary insurance eligibility, identification, authorization and referral information and to notify our office of any information changes when they occur. We also require a photo ID when accepting insurance information. It is the patient’s responsibility to know our office is participating or non-participating with their insurance plan. Failure to provide all required information may necessitate patient payment for all charges. We estimate your portion based on the most up-to-date information we have, but it is ONLY AN ESTIMATE. If you would like to know your insurance benefit, we will be happy to file a “pre-treatment authorization”. This may delay treatment but will give you a better idea of your out of pocket investment. Ultimately, you are responsible for all charges incurred in our office.
AFFORDABLE PAYMENT OPTIONS
We request that payment arrangements be made prior to beginning your treatment. Being sensitive to the fact that people have different needs in fulfilling their financial obligations, we would like to provide you with a choice of several payment options including:
Payment in full prior to start of treatment with a 5% courtesy discount
- Two Payments: First payment prior to treatment and next at time of service
- Three Payments for lab work: one at time of scheduling, one at first appointment, last at cementation
- Monthly Payments: Through Care Credit
Please let us know what works best for you. We also realize that temporary financial problems may affect timely payment of your account, If this should occur, please contact us for assistance in the management of your account.
We welcome you to our practice and look forward to working in partnership with you to achieve and maintain a healthy, beautiful smile. If there is anything we can do to make your visits here more pleasant, please don’t hesitate to ask one of our team members.
The cost of your treatment will vary, depending on your individual needs and treatment plan. We will discuss the cost of your treatment and each of your available payment options with you before you begin, so you can make the best choice for you.
Your smile is yours forever, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to receive the best dental care when you need it.
